Griffin’s T-Handle Replacement Gauge Kit fits all Turbine model filters, Standard and Marine. The kit comes complete with fluid filled gauge and adapter used to replace the T-Handle. Use this gauge to help you determine the optimal time to replace your dirty element.
Install a brand new element when you install the new gauge. Put the filter in normal operation and note the the vacuum reading on the gauge or mark the position of the needle on the glass face with a Sharpie of a piece of tape. As the element does its job and gets dirty, filtering contaminants and water out of the fuel, the vacuum will increase. When you feel the performance of the engine starting to decline, note the reading on the gauge. This will let you know your normal element operating range. You can then use the gauge to know when it is time to replace that old element before your performance starts to suffer.
Kit comes with everything needed to install.
